Institute – reopening
Preparations are underway to re-open Adderbury Institute as lockdown
restrictions ease. The building will be back in use from
Thursday May 6th 2021.
We are currently contacting regular users, starting with those with
weekly bookings, to ascertain their requirements.
After this we will make our online booking system available more
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the on-going
pandemic we can only accept bookings from people who can demonstrate
their ability to ensure compliance with the current COVID rules at
the time when they plan to use the Institute.
The requirements will vary dependant on the type of booking
you wish to make.
Before a booking can be assessed for acceptance we will need to see
a document (risk assessment) for your event.
The Management Committee for the Institute have completed
their own risk assessment to bring the building up to the required
standard for current use.
You can read that document
The latest government advice is available
You should aim to get your documentation to us within a week of
making your booking.
Deposits will be repaid for any booking which has to be cancelled
due to lack of documentation, or where the Institute Committee feel
unable to accept the risk mitigation.
We understand this extra hurdle to making a booking is painful, but
we have been advised this is a necessary step in ensuring we help
avoid the spread of the virus.
